Skyrim : Fortify Enchanting Potion

New players (noobs) maybe still confused about the so-called Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion that the pro mages are talking about. Or maybe you are bored with your current play-style and you want to try playing the game with mages-style character instead of bashing cute bunnies with beyond-godlike, overpowered sword in a daily basis. Or perhaps you just want to know where you can get the Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion to make the strongest possible weapon in the game. Whatever your reason is, no doubt I will explain it to you so that you will know this little thing called Fortify Enchanting potion, inside-out.

Let’s talk about enchanting first. Enchanting is the crafting skill for mages. Like the warriors have smithing and the thieves have alchemy. So enchanting here will bind a magic to your equipments, so that your equipment get special effects. You can enchant your weapon and it will absorb magicka from the enemy or you can add shock damage to your favorite slaughter weapon. If you want to be a strong and feared mage or you just plainly want to have the strongest weapon and equipment, Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion is a must.

So, the basic function of Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion is to multiply your enchanting power. Also with this potion, you will be stronger than characters with 100 enchantment skill and even possible to create a stronger enchantment than any enchantment found in stock weapons and gears in this game. And it would be more fun to abuse underleveled bunnies with a crazily-enchanted weapon than to simply butcher it with a sword (at least in my opinion :B)

How to get this awesome Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion? You can get it through alchemy. You will need ingredients. Three Hagraven Claws, four Blue Butterfly Wings, two Spriggan Sap, and two snowberries are needed. Oh come on you are asking me where to find it? If you simply have the money, make sure to stop at alchemy shops, they’re all there. But otherwise, you could try catching the Blue Butterflies that can easily found in Shadowgreen cavern for the wings, harvest snowberries from the plant that goes with the same name that is very common in snow lines, slaughter some spriggan and get it from their corpse, and fighting Hagraven that is not recommended since this creature causes a great mess. And it is obvious, no freebies!!

It can be used along with other items to craft the best weapon in Skyrim. Though you will need to be at 100 in Alchemy, Smithing, and Enchanting. Okay, here goes nothing :
  • First thing first, Craft “fortify alchemy” clothes
  • Equip the clothes and make the potion of fortify enchanting
  • Then, use it and you can make the best set of clothes for Alchemy
  • Because your clothes are stronger, you can make a stronger version of the Fortify Enchanting potion.
  • Now, equip your smithing equipment along with “fortify smithing” potion and make the best weapon
  • Finally, craft another stronger version of fortify enchanting potion and bind magic to your weapon with enchantment, now you can legitimately call your weapon “Weapon of Mass Destruction” (other than Polypore Staff :p).
That’s it guys, don’t regret being a mage that loves to enchant especially with Skyrim Fortify Enchanting potion!

Question: If you I follow the basic methodology, however I am not certain if you need to complete the entire loop and enchant your gear immediately. In other words; can I enchant the first set of gear for fortify alchemy, create the first fortify enchanting potion, use the potion and enchant the second set of gear and stop for the night? Does the second fortify enchanting potion stack on top of the first fortify enchanting potion, such that in order to create the best gear, you have to complete the entire process outline above before the first fortify enchanting potion wears off?

The potion has a limited duration and enchanting runs in REAL TIME, entering the enchanting menus does not stop the clock.
Try and do it as fast as possible!
A few tips:
SAVE FIRST!
Remove all items from your inventory except the 2-3 you plan to enchant.
Know what you want to enchant and what you want to enchant it with.
Enter the enchanting menu and immediately enter your item menu.
Use the potion.
Enchant.
